This past weekend I drove up to Western Maine to help at the Norway Arts Festival for a dear friend, Goddard Alum, and the owner of Bliss Healing Arts in Maine. I ran the sound for the "Dancers on the Green" Next to the Norway Memorial Library. Saturday started at 7:30 am for me with set up and then the dance sets went from 9:15 am until 11 am. There were several belly dance troupes and a modern dance troupe all performing for a small audience sitting on lawn chairs on a grassy area. I love small town festivals.
I spent the afternoon wandering about taking photos. The bulk of my photo taking was for Olas Flamenco Music and Dance, in which one of the dancers was also a friend and Goddard Alum. If you get a chance to see them, take it! Seriously amazing.
I finished up the trip with drive around Paris, Maine to get some classic New England shots.
